1st day:-Fly direct from Addis Ababa – Dire Dawa, and then drive to Harar. After a day tour of Harar you return to Dre-Dawa to catch your flight back to Addis Ababa the next day morning.
From Dire Dawa you drive up the hills to Harar where you will stay in one of the modern hotels on the outskirts of the old town. This will enable you see Harar’s most peculiar attraction, the Hy¬ena Man, who in the dark feeds hyenas. Harar is the spiritual heart of Ethiopian’s Islamic community. It is the forth-holiest Islamic city in the world. The city of Harar is compounded by old wall called JEGOL and it is the 48th walled city. (UNESCO) world heritage site.
